Target-Barrier Coverage Improvement in an Insecticidal Lamps Internet of UAVs

Insecticidal lamps Internet of things (ILs-IoTs) has attracted considerable attention for its applications in pest control to achieve green agriculture. However, ILs-IoTs cannot provide a perfect solution the migratory outbreak if ILs are fixed on ground. In this paper, we embed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) as mobile nodes, which can be rapidly landed ground kill agricultural pests, and UAVs (IoUAV) is introduced extend application ILs-IoTs. To take full advantage IL-IoUAVs, formulate problem target-barrier coverage investigate how minimise number IL-UAVs constructing coverage. The $\epsilon$-target-barrier utilizing realistic probabilistic sensing model IL-UAVs, based study guarantee while minimizing needed. solved by an optimal algorithm merge multiple target-barriers. Evaluation results show efficiency our designed algorithms
